In order to benefit from a colon cleanse, we must first do a little introspection. We must ask ourselves some serious questions about ourselves, and about how we are doing psychologically as well as physically. We must ask ourselves about our feelings, and one way to see how we are feeling is to ask what is going on in our colon and other intestinal areas. For it is there that many of our deepest secrets wait to be revealed as we seek them. “Know thyself!”, said the Delphic priestess thousands of years ago, and she was exactly right – both physically and mentally.
As a first step, examine carefully your feelings in your lower abdomen. Sit back in your chair and concentrate your mental focus on that part of your body. It will probably not be necessary for you to close your eyes, but try to have the lights lowered in the room where you think about your colon. Liver cleanse might be another thing for you to consider and to visualize while meditating on your colon and on its problems. The liver is something you will not feel quite as graphically as you feel your colon, but it is there, and ills that affect your colon will have a bad influence on your liver, too.
