You can help cure sweaty armpits by keeping away from foods that have strong aromas. Culprits are fish, garlic, onions and spices. Because these foods have their own pungent smells, they can cause armpit sweat to whiff even more.
If you’ve had no luck with regular deodorants, ask your pharmacist for an antiperspirant that contains an active ingredient that can minimize sweating. Or you could consult your doctor who might prescribe a stronger deodorant or medication. If your problem is really severe, you may need surgery.
You may want to try some natural remedies. It is said that malt vinegar is very useful to decrease armpit sweating. Apply a small amount on each armpit at night before going to bed. Wash it off thoroughly in the morning and then use your antiperspirant or deodorant. Shave your armpits because hair holds onto sweat which enables bacteria to breed.
Apparently aluminum chloride also works well. You can obtain this from your pharmacy. Before going to bed, wash your armpits well and dry them thoroughly.
