In this article today I want to discuss several different methods to help you beat back pain without resorting to expensive and painful surgeries.
When you come right down to it, four out of every five Americans are likely to develop some sort of lower back pain sometime during the course of their natural lives. I played basketball in high school and had several nasty spills over the course of my short career and even in to my mid-20s I began having back pain that was considerable; so this subject really hits home with me.
First of all I should mention that back pain will usually go away on its own within about two days or 48 hours. The problem is, nobody wants to live with that searing pain for a single minute, let alone 48 entire hours or more!
The first thing you can do is use cold to reduce the pain. Many people are confused about whether to use cold or hot but cold is the proper way to start out with because it will curb the swelling and inflammation. There are many different methods to use cold, some of which include putting ice cubes in a bag or something like that.
